The Jet XL230 Single Kit is part of king gates new XL rangeof heavy duty motors suitable for Residential and commercial use. Stylish,modern and very robust the Jet XL230 has the capacity to move gates up to 6metres and 750KG per leaf. The motor contains all steel mechanical gearing withbronze bushes and has a strong cast aluminium body. The motors run on a KingGates Star G8/AC control unit, this makes the kit very easy to install andprogramme due to its automatic programme function. It has many great featuresincluding a slow-down facility on opening and closing to prevent unnecessarynoise; obstacle detection to ensure safety; secondary safety input foradditional photo cells or safety edges, and partial opening for pedestrian use.The StarG8/AC can also be connected to the users smart phones via Wi-Fi usingthe Clavis 2.0 dongle, this offers easy access for the user enabling them toopen the gate from anywhere via the Clavis 2.0 App. The StarG8AC is also compatiblewith the King Specialist app allowing installer’s to use their smart phone ortablet using the King Konnect dongle. This is a Wi-Fi dongle that plugs intothe Star G8 control unit, then using the King Specialist app, you can set andadjust the installation parameters and setting, and also schedule maintenances.The Star G8/AC control unit has a built-in radio receiver with the capacity for200 radio transmitters. It comes in a IP54 water-resistant plastic housing.
